Disclaimer
We do preventive treatment for 4 major diseases: (Ich/Velvet/Brook/Uronema) and we also do preventive treatment for Flukes and Intestinal worms. There are too many other diseases and variables that can infect livestock that are beyond our control so customers must keep our fish in a new sterile holding tank with no other livestock added from any other source for 14 days to make sure no issue occurs, before adding them to the main display tank. If this condition is not met and customers place fish directly into the main display tanks and/or applies/administers their own quarantine/medication protocols then it voids any and all of our guarantees thus the customer bares full responsibility of their livestock. By agreeing to our terms and conditions and disclaimer, customers agree that they are making a purchase at their own risk and they assume all liability of their livestock. Seller is not responsible for any disease or health issues that may occur on livestock after delivery.
Shipment Procedure
All shipments are sent via UPS Priority Overnight service. Livestock is bagged in sterile and new saltwater, topped off with industrial grade Oxygen. All boxed in styrofoam coolers which includes either a heat pack or cold pack depending on the weather to maintain 68F-84F. We do not charge customer until livestock is close to ship. You will receive an invoice to pay with PayPal a week or two ahead of shipping.
Guarantee
We offer a 3 days Live Arrival Guarantee Only.
It doesn’t apply on expert only/live arrival guarantee only livestock or DOA replacements as they are guaranteed to arrive alive but are except from our extended guarantee after their arrival.
We cannot guarantee our quarantine protocol fully as no procedure is 100% failsafe. We preventively treat for 4 major common diseases (Ich/Velvet/Brook/Uronema) and Flukes/Intestinal worms. There could be many variables that can be at play which can affect the health of your livestock. Prime example we have seen, clients added chaeto or frags or rocks from a non-quarantined source and brought something nasty into their tank. Thus Seller bares no responsibility on livestock after delivery if it develops any disease or health issues.
Void of Guarantee and Agreement:
Our livestock is pre-quarantined. They do not require any future quarantine/medication protocols.
If customer practices/administers their own protocols, it voids any and all of our guarantees and agreements.
If customer wants to be sure there are no health issues in our livestock before adding to main tank, we recommend holding our livestock (no other livestock from any other source) in a observation only tank for 14 days prior to adding in main tank.
Customer bares full responsibility of any procedures/protocols/medications they may administer at their own risk and cannot hold seller liable.
How To Claim a DOA
If you experience a loss within the guarantee time frame of your purchase, please follow the claim terms and policies to receive a store credit for the purchase price of the reported loss.
Doa Claim Terms & Policies
If you experience a loss within 3 days from the day of delivery:
We can either issue a store credit or send a replacement on your next order.
Note: Pictures must be sent out of water with white background within the specified timeframe to support@drreefs.com and if a buyer doesn’t contact us within the specified time frame then we reserve the right to decline doa coverage. Store credits expire 60 days after the date of issuance. Shipping charges are not refundable in any case.

Restocking Fee
There will be a 25% restocking fee if the order is cancelled after we have acquired the livestock but if you like to postpone it or take a store credit we can arrange that for no fee.
Insurance
In case of shipping mishap/delays, if you have added insurance we will cover your entire livestock but if there is no insurance then you will have to file a claim with ups yourself and wait for them to pay you back for the loss.
